Outdoor (Spring) Track
Youth (Grades 1 - 8) & High School
Registration for the 2024 Outdoor Season will open in January
Outdoor Events:
Running Events:100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, Hurdles (80/100/100 & 200/400)
Field Events: Long Jump, High Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, Discus & Javelin
2024 Outdoor Program
NVA Track programs are for girls and boys in grades 1 - 12. We offer both local and travel programs for Youth athletes and a dedicated High School program, where High School athletes train exclusively with other High School athletes from the DMV area.
Our programs are appropriate for athletes of all levels, from beginner to advanced. We will break out into groups based on age and ability.
For the Spring, we will have 4 options:
Youth (Grades 1 - 8)
High School (Grades 9 - 12)
Long Distance (Grades 1 - 12)
Advanced/Travel - By Invitation Only
Registration for the High Jump & Long Jump Specialty Training will open soon.
Youth Club (Recreation)
The NVA Outdoor Track Team is appropriate for athletes new to track as well as athletes that have participated in track. Athletes are grouped by age and ability.
Participation in meets is not required - a good number of athletes just train with us to improve their speed for other sports.
Dates: 3/25 - 6/5
Cost: $324 - Loudoun County Residents (non-Loudoun County Residents please see below)
Payment Plan: $29 due at time of registration
3/16 - $100; 3/25 - $100; 4/10 - $95
Location:
The county has not released the practice locations. For the last few years, the team has practiced at Mill Run ES and Eagle Ridge MS during the week. Saturday practices were at Broad Run HS. As soon as the county releases the track allocations, we will send an email to the team.

Non - Loudoun County Residents: Since we utilize county facilities, Loudoun Parks & Rec limits the percentage of non-Loudoun County residents permitted on any team that utilizes county facilities. This a Loudoun County Park and Rec policy that every Loudoun County team/league need to follow in order to utilize county facilities.
Since Loudoun County Park & Rec limits the percentage of non-Loudoun county athletes on our team, we do not know the exact number of athletes we can accommodate at this time. Please email Coach Greene at Nvatrack@gmail.com for information about registering.

Advanced/Elite - for the youth and High School athletes that is competing on a higher level and requires a strong commitment to track. This team is by invitation only. The Coaches will continue to evaluate athletes throughout the season for the team and new athletes performing at a higher level will be given the opportunity to train with the Elite team. The Elite team has the opportunity to participate in local, regional and National meets. Any questions about the Elite team should be directed to Coach Greene at Nvatrack@gmail.com.

Scholarships
There will be some limited scholarship opportunities on a per family basis. Please contact Coach Greene at NVAtrack@gmail.com if you wish to participate but are finding it difficult. We understand there many different types of family situations and our goal with NVA Track is to improve the situation/condition of our kids/athletes.
