High School Summer Track Programs - High School Athletes (Rising Grades 9–12)

We offer beginner and advanced programs for High School athletes, where High School athletes train exclusively with other High School athletes from the DMV area.  Our programs are appropriate for athletes of all levels, from beginner to advanced.  We will break out into groups based on event type and ability.  


For the Summer Season, we will be offering the following programs. There are no meets for the Summer Youth and High School Programs.


Programs:


High School NVA Next Level Speed Training: Speed program for High School athletes who are ready to push their speed, agility, and explosiveness to the next level. This program is led by Coach Greene, USATF Olympic certified coach, and is perfect for athletes looking to get faster for track or other sports. This is a training program and there are no meets.


Practice Times: 4:45 - 5:45pm

Session 1: 6/15 - 7/2 - Full

Session 2: 7/6 – 7/21 - Limited Spots Available

Dates: 7/6, 7/7, 7/8, 7/9,7/13, 7/14, 7/15, 7/16, 7/20, 7/21

High School Strength & Conditioning Track Program - Beginner & Intermediate Levels -

The program focuses on improving speed, acceleration, endurance, agility, running mechanics, explosive power, and overall athletic performance through progressive training. Athletes will participate in structured workouts that include sprint development, plyometrics, interval conditioning, tempo runs, relay fundamentals, mobility training, and strength development with an emphasis on proper form, technique, and injury prevention. This Program is led by Coach Perry, USATF Level 1 certified coach. This is a training program and there are no meets.


Practice Times: Monday/Wednesday - 7:00 - 8:15pm 


Session 1: 6/15 - 7/8

Session 2: 7/20 - 8/12

High School Summer Weightlifting Program 
This Summer Weightlifting and Conditioning Program is designed improve overall strength, physical conditioning, athletic performance, and movement efficiency in a structured training environment. The program emphasizes progressive strength development, proper lifting mechanics, injury prevention, discipline, and total-body conditioning through age-appropriate training methods. This Program is led by Coach Perry, USATF Level 1 certified coach.


Practice Times: Tuesday - 6:30 - 7:30pm 


Session 1: 6/15 - 7/8

Session 2: 7/20 - 8/12

NVA Next Level Long Jump Training 

Sharpen your technique, speed, and power in our specialized Long Jump training sessions. Athletes will focus on approach mechanics, takeoff explosiveness, and landing efficiency to maximize distance and consistency.  This is a training program, and there are no meets.


Practice Times: Tuesday - 6:30 - 7:30pm 


Dates: 7/7 - 7/29

Advanced/Elite Team  

For the High School athlete that is competing on a higher level and requires a strong commitment to track. This team is by invitation only. The Elite team has the opportunity to participate in local, regional and National meets. Any questions about the Elite team should be directed to Coach Greene at Nvatrack@gmail.com.
