Indoor Events: 55m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, Hurdles & Jumps
Outdoor Events: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, Hurdles & Jumps

Long Distance - Grades 1 - 12

The NVA Indoor Track Team is appropriate for athletes new to track as well as athletes that have participated in track. Athletes are grouped by age and ability. 

Participation in meets is not required - a good number of athletes just train with us to improve their speed for other sports.  The meet schedule is usually not available until early December.  Historically, we have participated in 3 - 4 meets in the Northern Virginia area.

Long Distance: Grades 1 – 12
         Practice Times: Tues/Thurs 7 – 8pm and Sat Morning - Time - 9 - 10am

Cost: $399 -  Payment Plan: $39 due at time of registration (11/1 - $110; 11/15 - $125; 12/5 - $125)

All team meet fees, including National meets, are included in the Registration cost.


Long Distance Elite (Travel)

The Distance Elite (Travel) Program is for the youth athlete that is competing on a higher level and requires a strong commitment to track.  This team is by invitation only.  The Coaches will continue to evaluate athletes throughout the season for the team and new athletes performing at a higher level will be given the opportunity to train with the Elite team.  The Distance Elite team has the opportunity to participate in local, regional and National meets.  Any questions about the Distance Elite team should be directed to Coach Greene at Nvatrack@gmail.com.
